Overview
Job Purpose
The Relationship Manager is responsible for proactively managing ongoing relationship for a territory of 15 to 30 accounts ranging from $1M to $20M in annual revenue. The primary role of the Relationship Manager is to build trust based and value added relationships with key clients within the accounts they manage. The RM is measured on revenue retention and growth with the goal of strengthening and enhancing long term client relationships. This particular role will be concentrated on supporting the ICE Global Network with a focus on Prop Trading firms - so knowledge and familiarity of that subject and that vertical is preferred but not required.
Responsibilities
The RM will be responsible for all ICE Data Services revenue across all lines of business. They will become proficient across all products and services.
The RM will take on a leadership role in the coordination of internal resources to ensure the successful execution of client initiatives and problem resolution.
Build relationships at all levels including c-suite.
Collaborate on account strategy and run point on large complex renegotiations on existing business.
Work closely with subject matter experts and Sales Specialists to further the strategic vision of the account, bring in the Sales Specialists to new opportunities that the RM may uncover.
Performance will be measured as a function of quantitative measures based on revenue retention and growth. They will also be measured against qualitative goals such as proactive client engagement and overall client satisfaction.
Knowledge and Experience
Bachelor’s degree is required.
Minimum of 5 years of experience working within the financial services industry, with at least three years of account relationship experience.
Proactive individuals who are detail oriented, comfortable serving as a project coordinator, and who will be a strong customer advocate are highly desired for this position.
Overall industry knowledge and professional demeanor combined with knowledge of ICE Data Services products and services is a must.
Strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to interact with senior management internally and externally are critical.
This position demands an individual who enjoys the challenge of working with large, complex and potentially demanding clients that expect high levels of service, professionalism and expertise.

Base Salary Range for Illinois
The expected base salary for this role, if located in Illinois, is between $70,000 - $110,000 USD. The base salary range does not include Intercontinental Exchange’s rewarding and uncapped sales commission incentives. While we provide this range as general guidance, at ICE we compensate employees based on the skillset and experience of the individual. Regular full-time ICE employees are eligible for a suite of competitive employee benefits, including healthcare coverage (medical, dental and vision), a 401(k) plan, life insurance, time off, and paid leave for qualifying circumstances.
Base Salary Range for New York
The expected base salary for this role, if located in New York, is between $75,000 - $125,000 USD. The base salary range does not include Intercontinental Exchange’s rewarding and uncapped sales commission incentives. While we provide this range as general guidance, at ICE we compensate employees based on the skillset and experience of the individual.
