ARCO/Murray is seeking a QA/QC and Commissioning Project Manager to lead quality assurance, quality control, and Commissioning efforts across design/build projects in commercial, industrial, and mission-critical sectors. You’ll oversee inspections, enforce compliance, develop and run testing, and collaborate with project teams to deliver exceptional results.

A DAY IN THE LIFE
Develop and implement QA/QC plans for assigned projects
Conduct site inspections and verify compliance with specifications and codes
Coordinate with clients, architects, engineers, and subcontractors on quality standards across multiple projects
Manage documentation of inspections, testing, and corrective actions
Lead quality-related meetings and provide updates to stakeholders
Ensure adherence to safety and regulatory requirements
Support commissioning and validation processes
Identify and resolve quality issues proactively
Assist in training project teams on QA/QC best practices
Perform commissioning on mechanical, electrical, controls, irrigation systems, and process systems.
Project types include Controlled Environments Agriculture, Waste-to-Value, Manufacturing, Commercial, Laundry, Entertainment, and more
Act as the bridge between design and construction teams; coordinate system design and installation with clients, subcontractors, and equipment vendors in a way that ensures the seamless turnover of a controlled environment project.
Serve as the technical engineering resource for the project team
Create and execute pre-commissioning equipment checklists to maintain state-of-the-art quality system installations.
Create and execute commissioning test scripts that verify correct operation of the installed systems
Lead project commissioning meetings that accurately set expectations and coordinate schedules for all trades
Effectively convey information to onsite superintendents and subcontractors using employee’s knowledge of the project’s systems
NECESSARY QUALIFICATIONS
Ability to travel to project sites as needed
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Electrical/Electronic or Mechanical prefered), or 4 years of Technical education, or equivalent field experience in QAQC or Commissioning.
Highly entrepreneurial and self-motivated, with the ability to successfully work on own
Excellent problem-solving skills, with an adaptable and flexible style in working with different types of individuals
Comfortable with spending time on construction jobsite – approximately 25%
Familiar with construction practices and principles
5–10 years of experience in QA/QC and/or commissioning management within Mission Critical construction
Strong knowledge of construction codes, standards, and inspection processes
Experience with Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) systems required
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
Proficiency with construction/commissioning software such as Procore and CxAlloy a plus
Excellent communication and leadership skills
Certifications such as CQM, ASQ, CxA, or PMP a plus
