ManpowerGroup Project Manager III - Dynatrace OneAgent Upgrade in Chicago, Illinois

Our client, a leading organization in the technology and enterprise solutions sector, is seeking a Project Manager III - Dynatrace OneAgent Upgrade to join their team. As a Project Manager III - Dynatrace OneAgent Upgrade, you will be part of the IT Operations and Platform Engineering teams supporting global platform upgrade initiatives. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong leadership, excellent communication skills, and a proactive approach to project management, which will align successfully within the organization.

Pay Range:

What's the Job?

  • Independently manage the OneAgent Upgrade project, including phased rollout, validation, issue triage, rollback, and remediation.

  • Lead the delivery of Global Settings, sequencing changes by tenant, defining release windows, and ensuring minimal production impact.

  • Maintain comprehensive project artifacts such as plans, RAID logs, dependency trackers, decision logs, and runbooks.

  • Communicate effectively with application teams, platform engineering, support, and executive stakeholders, preparing concise SteerCo materials and early risk communication.

  • Deliver operational handoff documentation, automation scripts, and establish a repeatable upgrade cadence for future updates.

What's Needed?

  • At least 3+ years of experience in technical project management, especially in observability or monitoring platform upgrades.

  • Proven experience leading enterprise upgrades across Linux, Windows, and Kubernetes environments.

  • Strong understanding of change and release management processes for production systems.

  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to coordinate across multiple teams and stakeholders.

  • Ability to track, report, and manage project artifacts and deliverables effectively.
