Role Purpose
This role is responsible for the primary service that depends on well-maintained vehicles, organization and tracking of the fleet and expenses within the company. The GSE manager will have the ability to accurately maintain and hold responsibility for an exceptional level of quality of all ground support equipment in the company and ensuring all work is performed safely and is supported by established procedures and protocols.
What you will be doing
Fully responsible for all aspects of the GSE repair services at the station.
Fully accountable for the financial performance and compliance with Corporate Governance, legal and quality aspects of Menzies’ businesses in the station
Schedules all preventive maintenance inspections
Leading and working with the senior team to maintain and enhance appropriate, effective safety & security systems, risk assessments, periodical inspections & audits, operational training programs, planning, operational processes, and service delivery.
Maintains all equipment records and monitors vehicle registration and hour meter program.
Coordinate’s scheduling of equipment to be repaired.
Coordinates all QA inspections on fuel equipment.
Ensure ground equipment and fueling repair deadlines are met.
Determines work procedures, prepares work schedules, and expedites workflow.
Perform as a mentor to other employees and provide training to new employees.
Safety, Security and Compliance

Fully versed on International Aviation Safety and Security standards and passionate about promoting them within the organization.

Not intentionally or recklessly interfere with or misuse anything provided by the company in the interests of health, safety, or welfare reasons.
Inform their manager / supervisor of any work situation, equipment or activity that represents a serious or immediate danger to health and safety.
Report any hazards, near misses, incidents, accidents, or dangerous occurrences to their manager / supervisor, who will then follow the procedures contained in this manual.
Carry out work in accordance with information and training provided and any specific workplace health and safety rules or procedures.
Fully understand the company health and safety policy.
Attend training courses as may be arranged by the Company.
Qualifications and Experience
3 to 5 years mechanical experience
Must be 18 years of age or older.
Possess valid US driver's license with a clean driving record.
Pass pre-employment drug screen and all pre-employment testing.
Ability to proficiently read, write and speak English.
Must be comfortable lifting/moving 70lbs.
Must be comfortable working in all weather conditions.
Must be available and flexible to work variable shifts including weekends and holidays.
Pass FBI background and obtain US Customs Seal
To report any significant deficiency in our products, materials, and documents
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
Has the duty to suggest any improvements to working practices especially those relating to safety and security.
Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, vendors, and other employees of the organization
Must have high school diploma, GED or one-year experience as a Supervisor in the Aviation Industry Completion of an Automotive/Diesel Mechanic degree program (preferred)
