MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:
Network & Cloud Architecture
Own and optimize network operations across headquarters, Azure cloud, hybrid infrastructure, and distributed job sites.\ Architect and maintain secure Azure and hybrid network designs, including VNets, routing, segmentation, and hybrid connectivity.\ Design for high availability, resiliency, performance, and disaster recovery.
Security & Zero Trust
Implement and operate identity-aware network access using Entra ID, Conditional Access, device posture, and secure access services.\ Administer Microsoft Defender for Endpoint, Defender for Cloud, Defender for Identity, and Microsoft Sentinel (SIEM/SOAR).\ Configure and manage Azure network security controls, including Azure Firewall, NSGs/ASGs, Application Gateway, WAF, and DDoS Protection.\ Develop and enforce DLP and information protection policies across Microsoft 365 workloads.
Microsoft 365 & Endpoint Integration
Oversee the secure use of Microsoft 365 E5 services, including Exchange Online, SharePoint, OneDrive, PowerApps, Teams, Entra ID, and Intune.\ Ensure tight alignment between identity, endpoint, and network security controls.
Operations, Monitoring & Incident Response
Lead network monitoring, observability, and incident response using Azure Monitor, Network Watcher, and Sentinel.\ Drive measurable improvements in security posture, uptime, and response times.\ Produce operational metrics and SLA reporting for leadership.
Leadership & Strategy
Mentor and lead network and security engineers.\ Define and enforce network standards, secure architecture patterns, and governance guardrails.\ Partner with Cloud, Security, and Application teams to deliver secure-by-design solutions.
Automation & Modern Operations
Implement automation and AI-assisted operations using tools such as PowerShell, Azure Automation, Logic Apps, ARM/Bicep, or Terraform.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
7+ years of enterprise network engineering experience, with 3+ years in a leadership role.\ Hands-on experience with Microsoft Defender, Sentinel, DLP, Intune, and Microsoft 365 E5 security capabilities.\ Proven experience designing and operating Azure networking and hybrid connectivity (ExpressRoute, VPN).
Preferred Qualifications
Strong understanding of Microsoft Zero Trust architecture and Secure Scoredriven improvement.\ Experience supporting distributed or jobsite-based environments (e.g., construction, manufacturing, retail).\ Familiarity with OT/IoT or constrained-connectivity networks.\ Experience driving automation-first network operations.

SC-100 Microsoft Certified: Cybersecurity Architect Expert\ AZ- Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert\ 305 AZ-700 Microsoft Certified: Azure Network Engineer Associate\ MS-102 Microsoft 365 Certified: Administrator Expert\ AZ-500 Microsoft Certified: Azure Security Engineer Associate\ SC-300 Microsoft Certified: Identity and Access Administrator Associate\ SC-200 Microsoft Security Operations Analyst (preferred)
COMPENSATION DETAILS:
Salary Range: \$120,000-\$150,000
