Overview
The Manager, Data Science & Platforms is responsible for advanced audience development, technology enablement, and client-facing data strategy implementation. This role combines deep expertise in data science methodologies with hands-on platform management and client consultation to deliver high-value insights and business impact. Working at the intersection of technical innovation and client success, this position serves as both a strategic advisor and technical expert, driving data-driven marketing solutions across diverse client portfolios.
Responsibilities
Data Science & Analytics
Guide clients in clean room strategy and enable the use of future-proofed technology solutions
Create and oversee propensity model development using machine learning for net new and refresh of existing audiences
Perform comprehensive audience analyses on existing customer segments and collaborate across internal teams to present actionable insights
Develop and implement statistically sound test designs, minimizing bias and delivering measurable outcomes
Index report Python script runs and maintenance for data organization leading to more efficient analysis
Develop and implement test-and-learn roadmaps to continuously refine strategies and optimize data-driven decisions
Platform Management & Operations
Work with Advertising Technology & Marketing Technology partners and manage day-to-day onboarding of client data
Oversee 1st party & 3rd party data enablement, match rate tracking, audience distributions, and billing tracking
QA and troubleshooting of 1 st party onboarded data to ensure acceptable match rates with client systems
Leverage audience data to assess, diagnose, and prescribe campaign optimizations to exceed client expectations
Actively attend training sessions with various vendors and evaluate data and platform capabilities
Client Management & Communication
Build and maintain strong client relationships with ownership of day-to-day client interactions
Communicate insights effectively, ensuring understanding and application of data science outcomes by clients
Build impactful presentations that clearly outline the importance of analyses, insights revealed, and recommended actions
Develop and present Audience and Data Identity 101 presentations to clients
Provide high-value consultation layer on top of data science deliverables
Drive organic revenue growth through cross-selling and up-selling data science/platform products across client divisions
Qualifications
4+ years of experience in advertising, marketing, or data science fields, with agency experience strongly preferred
Quantitative educational background required; degree in Statistics and/or Data Science preferred
Prior digital advertising experience in a client-services capacity
Technical Skills
Advanced proficiency in SQL, Python, and statistical modeling techniques (logistic regression, clustering, k-means clustering)
Experience with clean room solutions (Databricks) for audience design

Compensation Range: $88,540- $127,155 annually. This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on the skills, qualifications, and experience of the applicant along with the requirements of the position, and the Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time. Temporary roles may be eligible to participate in our freelancer/temporary employee medical plan through a third-party benefits administration system once certain criteria have been met. Temporary roles may also qualify for participation in our 401(k) plan after eligibility criteria have been met. For regular roles, the Company will offer medical coverage, dental, vision, disability, 401k, and paid time off.
