Our client, a leader in the industrial packing sector, is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician with strong experience in injection molding equipment. This individual will support production by performing hands-on maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair across a variety of shop floor systems. This opportunity is from 6AM to 2:30PM OR 1:30 PM to 10:00 PM, Monday to Friday. 2nd shift has a \$0.50 hourly differential.

  • Perform diagnostics and corrective actions to minimize equipment downtime and maintain production flow.

  • Fabricate and modify machine components using various shop tools and machining equipment.

  • Oversee tool and part inventories in collaboration with storeroom personnel, ensuring timely replenishment and availability.

  • Log maintenance activities, part usage, and findings to support process improvements and equipment history tracking.

  • Conduct regular inspections on shop equipment, addressing wear or safety concerns proactively.

  • Troubleshoot and maintain systems including chillers, grinders, thermolators, resin dryers, tower fans, and loader systems.

  • Contribute to machinery installations, relocations, and retrofits when needed.

  • Support downstream automation systems and demonstrate familiarity with PLC-driven equipment.

  • Maintain a clean and hazard-free workspace, complying with company safety procedures and protocols.

  • Assist team members and contribute to cross-functional maintenance efforts as needed.

  • At least 5 years of hands-on experience servicing injection molding machines and related support systems.

  • Strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic components.

  • Ability to independently identify issues and implement effective repair strategies.

  • Skilled in reading and interpreting mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical schematics and technical documentation.

  • Experience with welding and machining is preferred, but not required.

  • Proven track record of working safely, efficiently, and collaboratively with other departments.
