Job Title: Lab Technician
Job Description
Join our dynamic team as a Lab Technician where you will play a crucial role in verifying the quality of incoming raw materials and outgoing products using established methods. You will prepare laboratory reagents, manage retain samples, enter test data into SAP or LIMS systems, and maintain vendor certifications and inspections.
Responsibilities
Verify the quality of incoming raw materials and outgoing products using established methods.
Prepare laboratory reagents and file retain samples in appropriate holding areas.
Enter test data into SAP or LIMS systems and file vendor certifications, raw materials, and production inspections.
Participate in general housekeeping, including routine cleaning and maintenance.
Perform other duties as requested by management.
Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry preferred; Biology, Physics, or related fields will be considered.
Proficiency in chemistry, laboratory techniques, and quality assurance.
Skills in wet chemistry, titration, pH, FTIR, and viscosity measurement.
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Chicago, IL.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $23.00/hr.
