ManpowerGroup Human Resources Coordinator in Chicago, Illinois
Our client, a dynamic organization committed to fostering a positive and engaging workplace environment, is seeking a Human Resources Coordinator to join their team. As a Human Resources Coordinator, you will be part of the HR support team supporting site operations and employee engagement initiatives. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong interpersonal skills, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to administrative and HR support, which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: Human Resources Coordinator
Location: Chicago, IL (On-site)
Pay Range: $18 to $20 p/h w-2
Duration: 2 month contract
What's the Job?
Assist with onboarding activities and recruitment coordination to ensure a smooth hiring process.
Support HR initiatives and engagement activities; co-lead the Engagement Committee and organize site events.
Maintain employee files, prepare HR correspondence, and manage I-9 documentation.
Serve as the first point of contact for employee questions and support payroll activities as needed.
Coordinate logistics for VIP visits, office readiness, and manage day-of event logistics to ensure seamless operations.
What's Needed?
Experience with HR systems, especially payroll-related functionalities such as Kronos, is strongly preferred.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills to handle employee inquiries professionally.
Ability to manage or support large-scale engagement initiatives and cross-functional groups.
High attention to detail and comfort with process-driven work.
Previous experience in office administration or HR support roles is advantageous.
