The hourly rate for this position is $26.25. This position is also eligible to earn overtime.

The Housekeeping Supervisor is responsible in the oversight of the Housekeeping team to ensure smooth daily operations. This position will assist the Director of Housekeeping and Housekeeping Assistant Manager in interviewing, on-boarding and training new team members. Training includes educating staff members about the policies and procedures that are unique to the property while also educating them about the layout of the space and the location of the supplies they may need throughout their working day. Supervisors will be assigned to inspect guest rooms and ensure all quality standards are met within a timely manner. They work alongside the staff, when necessary, to complete cleaning and maintenance duties.
The Housekeeping Supervisor shares the responsibility of reviewing inventory and processing purchase orders on a regular basis. Understanding basic payroll, reviewing timecards daily and preparing schedules will also be expected. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 1-year hotel experience and excellent communication skills, as well as intermediate computer skills. Prior supervisory experience preferred.

Qualifications:
A true desire to satisfy the needs of others in a fast-paced environment.
Refined verbal and written communication skills.
Must be able to lift, pull and push a moderate amount of weight.
Must be comfortable standing for long periods of time and walking moderate distances.
1-2 years of hotel experience.
Housekeeping lead or supervisory experience a plus.
Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays
