The Director, Business Finance leads all market level financial performance management in partnership with a team of finance business partners & Market Presidents, SVPs, and operational leaders. This role owns market planning, forecasting, and performance reporting, ensuring financial insights directly support growth, margin optimization, and operational decision making. The Director acts as the front end of FP&A, translating market activity into enterprise ready plans and forecasts in close partnership with Corporate FP&A.

Compensation range of $136,000-$190,000 based on experience
Responsibilities
What You’ll Do
Market & Functional Leadership
Lead and develop all Finance Business Partners (FBPs) supporting markets and functions
Serve as trusted financial advisor to Market Leaders and senior operational stakeholders
Drive accountability for financial performance, risks, and opportunities at the market level
Performance Management
Own market‑level KPIs, service line economics, margin analysis, and operational drivers
Oversee Monthly Financial Reviews (MFRs) and in‑market performance discussions
Oversee bi‑weekly KPI, risks & opportunities (R&O), and executive material development
Planning & Forecasting
Own market‑level planning and forecasting activities (AOP, quarterly projections)
Ensure market and departmental inputs align with enterprise assumptions, timelines, and guidance
Act as the primary liaison feeding market insights into Corporate FP&A consolidation
Analytics & Insight
Translate financial and operational data into actionable insights for growth, efficiency, and margin improvement
Proactively identify risks, opportunities, and corrective actions across markets
Team Leadership
Directly manage Senior Finance Business Partners and assigned managers
Set performance expectations, coach talent, and build a strong bench of finance leaders
Qualifications
What You Bring
Required Skills & Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
8+ years of progressive finance experience, including Finance Business Partnering
Proven experience supporting senior business and operational leaders
Experience in healthcare, services, or multi‑market organizations strongly preferred
Strong communication and business partnership skills, with the ability to translate data into insights that resonate with operators and executives
Preferred Qualifications
Strong analytical, financial and systems skills.
Excellent data analysis and problem-solving abilities.
Strong understanding of P&L drivers, margin management, and operational finance
Demonstrated ability to lead and develop teams
Excellent executive communication and presentation skills
Excellent interpersonal skills.
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.
