Job Description:

This job is responsible for supporting the development and delivery of the overall digital strategy for a portfolio of medium to large digital programs. Key responsibilities include identifying strategic and operational risks and opportunities, building partnerships across the enterprise to determine priorities and project direction, and making complex judgement calls and impactful decisions to deliver material business impact for critical digital capabilities. Job expectations include coaching, developing talent, directing the work of multiple associates, and supporting day-to-day delivery.

Responsibilities:

The Digital Director will be a senior individual contributor that:

  • Brings new digital wallet features to market to improve client experience and usage of digital wallets.

  • Manages cross-product coordination, positioning, and education of digital wallets products and features.

  • Maintains visibility into industry trends and developments.

  • Independently leads projects and effectively partners with key project stakeholders to deliver projects on time and on budget.

  • Develops and presents compelling, executive-ready presentations conveying the strategy, business case, recommendations, and/or enhancement opportunities to key stakeholders.

  • Supports new and existing Digital Wallet features, including research, escalation, and issue resolution.

  • Utilizes metrics, data, and research to identify opportunities to improve existing Digital Wallet capabilities.

  • Contributes to the development of digital strategies and process transformations to deliver industry leading solutions with impactful business results

  • Manages a large program or a portfolio of projects overseeing timeline, budgets, and resource allocation

  • Promotes governance, risk management, and analytics best practices to drive roadmap and prioritization at the portfolio level

  • Supports a program or portfolio business case, funding, progress status, promotion, and advocacy across the bank

  • Crafts powerful narratives and storytelling to drive awareness and rally support amongst executives across the bank

  • Builds alliances, negotiates, and influences stakeholders across multiple levels and functions within the bank to drive outcomes

  • Demonstrates critical thinking and leverages findings and data to make informed decisions across digital delivery, prioritization, negotiation, hiring, and staffing activities

Required Qualifications:

  • 5+ years' experience in a product management or project management role.

  • Intellectual Curiosity: Ability to independently take on complex business problems and learn about new approaches that can drive value to the organization.

  • Communication Skills: Proven ability to communicate complex topics stakeholders at all levels, including senior executives.

  • Lead with influence: Ability to influence and partner with technical and non-technical business teams to drive desired results.

  • Collaborative team-player with high emotional intelligence.

  • Self-motivation, self-direction, organizational skills, and the ability to manage priorities without sacrificing quality or timelines.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with Bank change management requirements and integration with UCRA, CAST, Jira, etc.

  • Working knowledge of payment card tokenization processes

  • Working knowledge of card payment processes

  • Experience with running Digital projects at Bank of America
