The Team
Black & Veatch’s Infrastructure Advisory Business provides a portfolio of solutions focused on the asset lifecycle, including Asset Management & Operations & Maintenance, Infrastructure Technology, Cybersecurity Solutions, Planning and Transactions. In thisroleyou will be part of the Delivery Team supporting Solutions.
You will be working withInfrastructure Advisory’sStrategic Asset Management Solution to deliver a wide range of projects and solutions, focusing primarily on asset investment planning, risk assessment, value modeldevelopmentand business case evaluation.
The Opportunity
Black & Veatch is seeking an exceptional professional to join our Infrastructure Advisory organization as aManagerto deliver strategic asset management projectsfor our clients, with a focus on asset investment planningforelectricutilities.Infrastructure Advisory focuses on thelifecycle management of assets, and you will be joining a team ofdedicated professionalswho are aligned with Black & Veatch’sPurpose,Building a World of Difference.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to:
Work with gas and electric utilities to develop asset investment plans,utilizingindustry-leading tools and models tooptimizecapital investments through assessment of risks and benefits, and development of value models.
Deliver innovative solutions to address ourclient’smost pressing issues, including aging infrastructure,optimizingasset investments, improving data management and decision making, and enhancing organizational capabilities.

Key Responsibilities
Perform and manage technical work for the followingtypeof projects:
Asset investment plan development
Portfolio optimization and/or prioritization
Risk analysis methodologies
Benefitmonetization methodologies
Asset management plan development
Asset management assessments (including ISO 55001) and development of Strategic Asset Management Plans
Asset management program development and implementation
Serve as the project manageronassetinvestmentplanprojects. Orchestrate tasks,coordinateresources, andmanageschedule,budgetand quality requirements.
Provide asset management technical subject matterexpertiseon projects,apply asset management best practicesanddetailed knowledge of electric T&D assets and utility operation and maintenance,andrecommend solutions to clients.
Useexpertiseto analyze and interpret quantitative and qualitative data to provide insights,identifytrends, opportunities and risks, reviewalternativesand develop solutions.
Leadclient meetings and workshops, developpresentationsandcommunicateeffectively with clients.
Support business development activities,and lead development of scopes,schedulesand budgets.

IAM Certificate in Asset Management
Consulting experience with electric utilities
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degreeor relevant work experience
Typically7+years experiencein a business/consulting environment.
Demonstrated experience in electric utility engineering,operationsand maintenance.

Certifications
Certifications related to area of expertise, where applicable preferred.
