Sodexo Campus Dietitian in CHICAGO, Illinois

Role Overview

Sodexo is seeking a Campus Dietitian to support seven universities across Indiana and central Illinois. This student‑facing role works closely with students, athletics, and campus teams to advance nutrition, wellness, and dining initiatives.

While the ideal home base is Indiana State University or the University of Illinois Chicago , a home‑office option may be available. Travel to universities in Indiana and central Illinois is approximately 50% .

What You'll Do

  • Provide individual nutrition care to students with nutrition concerns, providing diet education and menu selection assistance

  • Manage special diet and allergy accommodations

  • Host wellness programming, educational events, and create table events

  • Collaborate with dining and culinary teams to support nutrition initiatives

What You Bring

  • Registered Dietitian Credentials, licensure in Indiana and Illinois

Qualifications & Requirements

Minimum Education Requirement: Master's degree with completion of required coursework and supervised practice as dictated by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND)

For those eligible for the registration exam prior to 1/1/24: Bachelor's degree with completion of required coursework and supervised practice as dictated by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND)

Credentials Requirement: Meets eligibility requirements for Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RD/RDN) by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) and will become registered within 120 days of hire. In some states and/or facilities the RD/RDN credentials is required at the time of hire Certification/licensure as required by state(s) of practice. In some states and/or facilities state certification/licensure is required at the time of hire

Minimum Functional Experience - 2 years work experience in health care including hospitals, nursing homes, assisted or independent living facilities, long-term care, retirement homes, or clinics + registered dietitian
