ITW Specialty Films manufactures and markets specialized coated and metallized films used in Secure ID, Medical Specialty Bags, Financial Cards, Laminations, and Holographic applications. With multiple manufacturing facilities in the US, UK, and Germany, the division leverages core competencies in films, foils, holography, and laminates to meet complex customer needs.

Position Summary

The Inventory & Logistics Coordinator is responsible for ensuring accurate inventory management, compliant shipping and receiving operations, and efficient warehouse execution in a manufacturing environment. This role supports both domestic and international logistics, maintains critical documentation and certifications, and serves as a working lead to support daily warehouse operations.

The position partners closely with Customer Service, Production, Materials, Quality, Accounting, and external logistics providers to ensure accurate material flow, regulatory compliance, and operational continuity.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Inventory Control & Accuracy

  • Perform ongoing inventory maintenance, including cycle counts, discrepancy investigation, and corrective actions.

  • Review inventory transactions entered by receiving or warehouse personnel and correct errors as needed.

  • Investigate inventory variances and notify appropriate stakeholders of findings and resolutions.

  • Maintain accurate inventory records within ERP / inventory management systems.

  • Distribute, review, and reconcile cycle count results; ensure timely system updates.

Shipping & Receiving Operations (Domestic & International)

  • Coordinate domestic and international transportation arrangements in alignment with Customer Service direction.

  • Prepare and review shipping documentation including Bills of Lading, packing lists, commercial invoices, and related paperwork.

  • Match shipping documents to work orders and review for accuracy prior to accounting submission.

  • Maintain shipping logs for non-work order shipments and parcel (UPS/FedEx) activity; distribute logs as required.

  • Verify inbound shipments by comparing packing lists and receivers to system inventory and resolve discrepancies.

Documentation, Compliance & Certifications

  • Maintain and update Certificates of Analysis (COAs) and related quality documentation.

  • Review incoming material certifications and follow up with vendors for missing or incomplete documentation.

  • Support vendor managed inventory documentation and compliance requirements.

  • Ensure documentation accuracy to meet internal quality, customer, and regulatory standards.

Regulated / Customer Specific Order Handling (As Applicable)

  • Perform detailed physical inspections on regulated or customer specific orders.

  • Verify lot numbers, quantities, labels, and documentation against packing lists and certifications.

  • Complete required inspection or certification forms tied to specific orders prior to release.

Warehouse Leadership & Operational Support

  • Serve as a hands-on working lead, supporting daily warehouse activities and team coordination.

  • Provide coverage and backup support for receiving, shipping, or inventory functions during absences.

  • Support cross-training efforts, including exposure to purchasing or supervisory functions as needed.

  • Operate material handling equipment and maintain safe, organized warehouse conditions aligned with 5S principles.

QUALIFICATIONS

Required

  • High school diploma or equivalent.

  • 2+ years of experience in warehouse operations, inventory coordination, or logistics.

  • Experience with inventory systems and data entry (ERP/MRP environments preferred).

  • Familiarity with shipping documentation (BOLs, packing lists, international documents preferred).

  • Strong attention to detail, math proficiency, organization, and problem-solving skills.

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook).

  • Ability to communicate effectively via phone, email, and in person.

  • Ability to occasionally lift up to 50 pounds.

Preferred

  • Manufacturing or regulated product experience.

  • Prior lead, coordinator, or cross functional support experience.

  • Exposure to international freight forwarding or customs documentation.

Work Environment / Physical

Manufacturing and warehouse environment requires routine floor presence. Regular exposure to forklift traffic and moving equipment. Use of required PPE (safety shoes, safety glasses). There is a combination of standing, walking, visual acuity, and light material handling. Occasional lifting and carrying. Environments may not be controlled by climate.

Pay Range

Paid Hourly, 25.00- 29.00 per hr.
