UKG Principal, Partner Programs & Transformation in Cheyenne, Wyoming

Why UKG:

At UKG, the work you do matters. The code you ship, the decisions you make, and the care you show a customer all add up to real impact. Today, tens of millions of workers start and end their days with our workforce operating platform. Helping people get paid, grow in their careers, and shape the future of their industries. That’s what we do.

We never stop learning. We never stop challenging the norm. We push for better, and we celebrate the wins along the way. Here, you’ll get flexibility that’s real, benefits you can count on, and a team that succeeds together. Because at UKG, your work matters—and so do you.

About the Team:

The Global Partners & Ecosystems (GP&E) team plays a critical role in driving UKG’s growth strategy by activating a diverse partner ecosystem, accelerating go‑to‑market execution, and delivering scalable value across the business. GP&E collaborates closely with Product, Sales, Services, Marketing, Strategy, and Operations to unlock opportunities to position partners as growth multipliers for UKG. The team operates with a focus on strategic clarity, innovation, and operational excellence.

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly strategic, execution‑oriented leader to drive GP&E’s most critical transformation and growth initiatives. In this role, you will shift UKG from opportunistic partner engagement to a structured, partner-powered growth engine.

You will own programs and initiatives from end‑to‑end—from discovery and design through implementation and sustained adoption—bringing operational rigor, cross-functional alignment, and measurable impact. Acting as a strategic operator and right hand to GP&E leadership, you will create clarity, improve performance discipline, and ensure high‑priority initiatives progress with focus and accountability.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive Partner Strategy & Transformation: Accelerate partner-led growth by executing programs and initiatives underpinning GP&E’s transformation agenda.

  • Stand Up & Scale Programs: Develop structured program plans, governance, KPIs, and execution frameworks that move from concept → adoption → sustained performance.

  • Align Cross-Functional Stakeholders: Partner with Sales, Product, Services, Enablement, GTM Ops, and Finance to drive decision-making and momentum across GP&E’s transformation portfolio.

  • Improve Operational Rigor: Establish KPIs, reporting, and operating mechanisms that create clarity, reduce reactive leadership pull, and strengthen cross-functional workflows.

  • Serve as a Strategic Right Hand: Provide structure, insights, and prioritization support for leadership; simplify complex problems and clarify path-to-impact.

About You:

You are a proactive, structured operator with strong strategy and execution muscle. You thrive in ambiguity, drive outcomes without heavy direction, and bring crisp communication and cross-functional influence.

Basic Qualifications

  • 10+ years of professional experience in strategy, consulting, complex business operations, GTM transformation, or program leadership within enterprise software.

  • 5+ years leading cross-functional initiatives with measurable outcomes.

  • Experience implementing operating models or performance frameworks.

  • Ability to distill complex problems into clear, concise executive narratives and actionable plans.

  • Experience in integration-heavy or transformation environments where cross-functional discipline is essential.

Strong analytical capability with the ability to quickly build insights, recommendations, and structured workplans.

  • Bachelor’s degree required; MBA preferred.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in partner ecosystem program-building within enterprise software.

You’ll succeed if you…

  • Operate with urgency, ownership, and a “go make it happen” mindset.

  • Can shift seamlessly between strategic thinking and detailed execution.

  • Thrive in a matrixed environment and influence without authority.

  • Bring structure, clarity, and measurable impact to complex, ambiguous work.
