HireQuest-Direct Concrete Form Carpenter in Cheyenne, Wyoming
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and construction plans.
- Measure, cut, and assemble lumber or metal materials for building concrete forms.
- Set forms for footings, walls, slabs, sidewalks, curbs, and structural framework.
- Install form hardware, including ties, braces, clamps, embeds, and anchor bolts.
- Ensure forms are level, plumb, square, and properly aligned before concrete placement.
- Use hand and power tools, including saws, drills, hammers, and measuring devices.
- Apply form release agents and prepare surfaces for concrete pour.
- Work with the concrete crew during pours, vibration, finishing, and form adjustments.
- Strip forms safely without damaging finished concrete.
- Perform site cleanup, material organization, and equipment maintenance.
- Follow OSHA and site-specific safety requirements at all times.
