Position:

Agricultural Equipment Operator/General Farm Worker

Requirements:

• Minimum of three months verifiable experience is required.
• Workers must be able to obtain their driver's license within 30-90 days of hire.
• Workers will perform manual and physical work requiring extensive pushing, pulling, sitting or walking, frequent stooping, bending over and movements might be repetitive.
• Job duties include lifting of agricultural tools and equipment that weigh up to 75lbs.
• Work is performed mostly outdoors, and workers will be exposed to hot and humid conditions and sometimes severe weather conditions like thunderstorms and tornadoes.
• No texting and use of cellphone during working hours, while operating machinery, equipment and driving vehicles.
• Wage rate may increase with verifiable experience. Employer may reward exceptional work with monetary or other benefits in addition to those listed here in his sole discretion.
• We enforce a zero-tolerance policy for drugs and alcohol. Being under the influence or in possession of drugs or alcohol while on duty, at the at the worksite, or the employer provided housing, or employer equipment and/or vehicles will lead to immediate termination.
• Smoking is prohibited in all farm buildings, vehicles, housing, and near equipment. These measures are essential to maintaining a safe and responsible work environment.
• All tools are provided by the employer.

Job description:

• Row crop and dryland farming.
• Drive and operate machinery to plant, spray, cultivate, harvest and store crops.
• Till soil, rock picking, plant and cultivate grain.
• Attach farm equipment to tractor, trucks and combines.
• Assist with irrigation of crops and drain excess water from crops.
• General manual labor for farm operation - carry bags of grain, load and unload trucks.
• General equipment maintenance.
• Equipment is modern John Deere with auto steer.
• Crops: wheat, milo, sunflowers and corn

Anticipated hours of work per week: 48 hours per week

Schedule: Mon to Sat. 8 hours per day.

8:00 A.M. - 5:00 P.M.

Anticipated period of employment: Mar 16, 2026 to Nov 30, 2026

Pay: $20.02 per hour

** Effective 1/1/25, overtime must be paid after 48 hours worked per week, or 56 hours worked per week for up to 22 "peak weeks" for highly seasonal employers.
