Join an exciting opportunity to lead a large-scale expansion and modernization of a soybean processing complex, strategically positioned for renewable fuels, protein meal production, and agricultural supply chains. We are seeking a Controls/Automation Project Manager with expertise in front-end development to oversee various projects, ensuring successful execution and delivery.
Responsibilities
Manage and oversee controls and automation projects with a macro-level perspective.
Provide direction and oversight to a consulting engineer, focusing on project development and execution.
Coordinate and rotate between different projects, ensuring streamlined processes and outcomes.
Engage in project development, plug and play setups, and sustain ongoing programs.
Travel to NE Indiana as needed, with per diem paid for travel expenses.
Utilize function block and ladder logic programming skills, particularly within Rockwell Automation environments such as Controllogix for PLC and FactoryTalk View for SCADA.
Guide the replacement of existing systems, including the transition from Bailey DCS to new automation solutions.
Essential Skills
Expertise in automation engineering and controls management.
Prior project management experience across any industry.
Proficiency with Rockwell Automation products, specifically Controllogix for PLC.
Experience in overseeing and directing large-scale projects, providing strategic oversight and management.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience with startup launches is beneficial but not required.
Knowledge or experience with Bailey DCS is a bonus.
Work Environment
This role is primarily based at the headquarters, with approximately 30% travel to NE Indiana for a few days at a time. The work environment involves utilizing cutting-edge technologies and equipment, providing an opportunity to spearhead a significant project over the course of up to three years.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $70.00 - $90.00/hr.
