As a Quality Engineer, you will be part of the Global Quality Assurance team, working closely with manufacturing, engineering, and sales to ensure customer satisfaction. You will lead initiatives to enhance product quality, resolve non-conformances, and implement robust quality systems aligned with business technology roadmap. This role requires strong expertise in quality engineering, data-driven analysis, and structured problem-solving.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead the resolution of customer requests and complaints in the region, using root cause analysis and cross-functional collaboration
Conduct root cause analysis of quality issues and implements corrective actions using methodologies such as the 8D process and FMEA
Prepare and monitor responses to non-conformity reports, ensuring compliance with customer and internal processes
Utilize Statistical Process Control (SPC) techniques to analyze data and support manufacturing process improvements
Implement and maintain Process Control Systems to ensure consistency and quality of products
Working seamlessly with global partners in Manufacturing, Quality, Raw Material Quality and Engineering Science to strengthen product quality and customer trust
Lead and facilitate project management activities related to quality improvement initiatives
Representing the company during customer interactions regarding product quality, including audits and reviews
Develop and compile quality reports, documentation, and technical specifications for internal and external stakeholders
Conduct preliminary quality planning for new products, ensuring adherence to ISO9001 standards
Integrate automation tools and techniques into daily quality operations
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline such as Chemistry, Chemical Engineering or Materials Science
7+ years of experience in the semiconductor industry including roles in Quality or Engineering
Strong communication, organizational, and collaboration skills in global dynamic environments
Knowledge of Quality Assurance, Process controls, Customer management skills
Proficient English Communication Skills
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in semiconductor industry specializing in CMP
Familiarity with metrology and defect analysis tools
Proficiency in Process Control Systems, SPC tools or/and statistical tools
