Job Summary
We are seeking a Sr. Developer with 6 to 8 years of experience in OOABL Progress OpenEdge Progress Database QAD Inc MFG-PRO Progress Corticon and Progress 4GL. The ideal candidate will work in a hybrid model focusing on developing and optimizing applications that drive our business forward. Experience in Asset & Wealth Management is a plus. This role does not require travel and operates during day shifts.
Responsibilities
Develop and maintain high-quality software solutions using OOABL and Progress OpenEdge to meet business objectives.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement robust applications that enhance operational efficiency.
Optimize Progress Database performance to ensure seamless data retrieval and storage processes.
Utilize QAD Inc MFG-PRO to streamline manufacturing processes and improve system integration.
Implement business rules using Progress Corticon to automate decision-making processes.
Leverage Progress 4GL to build scalable applications that support business growth.
Conduct thorough testing and debugging to ensure software reliability and performance.
Provide technical support and troubleshooting for existing applications to minimize downtime.
Document software specifications and update technical documentation to reflect system changes.
Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to drive innovation within the team.
Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations in all development activities.
Participate in code reviews to maintain high coding standards and best practices.
Qualifications
Possess strong expertise in OOABL and Progress OpenEdge for effective software development.
Demonstrate proficiency in Progress Database management and optimization techniques.
Have hands-on experience with QAD Inc MFG-PRO for manufacturing process improvements.
Show capability in using Progress Corticon for business rule implementation.
Exhibit skills in Progress 4GL for application development and scalability.
Experience in Asset & Wealth Management is a valuable asset.
Ability to work effectively in a hybrid work model and adapt to changing project needs.
