We are looking for a Senior Full Stack Engineer who thrives in an AI‑first engineering culture. This role combines Python backend development, modern frontend frameworks (React/Flutter), cloud engineering on AWS, and daily use of GenAI tools to deliver high‑impact healthcare technology solutions.
AI is not experimental here - it is a core part of how we design, build, test, and operate software.
Primary Responsibilities:
Design, develop, deploy, and support enterprise‑grade full‑stack applications
Build Python‑based microservices and REST APIs at scale
Develop intuitive, high‑performance React or Flutter user interfaces
Use AI‑assisted development tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Codex, Microsoft 365 Copilot) as part of daily engineering workflows
Review, validate, and refine AI‑generated code to meet Optum's quality, security, and compliance standards
Architect and deploy solutions across AWS, Azure, and hybrid cloud environments
Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines and modern deployment strategies (blue‑green, canary, rolling)
Implement secure‑by‑design practices (authentication, authorization, encryption, secrets management)
Collaborate with product, UX, data, platform, and security teams
Mentor engineers and help scale AI‑assisted engineering best practices across teams

Required Qualifications:
Graduate degree or equivalent experience
Solid experience with AWS (primary), exposure to Azure / hybrid cloud
