Eaton Corporation Sales Manager in Chennai, India

What you’ll do:

"The Sales Manager will be responsible for driving strategic sales growth for Eaton’s Crouse-Hinds and B-Line businesses across India, with a specific focus on managing key EPC accounts engaged in global projects across the Middle East, North Africa, and other international regions.

This role involves developing and executing a comprehensive business plan targeting Global OEMs, expanding into emerging markets such as skid builds, green hydrogen, and other new energy applications, and enhancing Eaton’s leadership position in Ex-protected and electrical infrastructure solutions."

  • Manage and grow relationships with key EPC customers in India executing projects for MENA and global markets.

  • Identify and engage global OEMs to position Eaton Crouse-Hinds explosion-protected products and B-Line cable management solutions.

  • Develop and maintain a strong network with consultants, end-users, and project decision-makers to influence specifications and approvals.

  • Develop a 3-year business plan with measurable sales targets, market share goals, and execution strategies for targeted regions and sectors.

  • Drive profitability through cost optimization, value engineering, and strategic pricing initiatives.

  • Identify and establish business opportunities in emerging segments such as green hydrogen, renewable energy, skid-based packages, and modular projects.

  • Apply concept selling techniques to promote Eaton’s Ex-protected lighting, fittings, enclosures, and cable management systems.

  • Collaborate with engineering and design teams for lighting design, 3D modeling, and solution-based proposals for EPC projects.

  • Deliver technical presentations, conduct product demos, and provide pre-sales technical support to customers and channel partners.

  • Work closely with Marketing, Application Engineering, and Product Management teams to align sales strategies with business objectives.

  • Coordinate with supply chain and operations for project forecasting, delivery planning, and customer satisfaction.

  • Collaborate with global teams to align India-based EPC and OEM efforts with global account strategies.

Qualifications:

"10 years of experience in the O&G Process Industry, handling project or solution sales for electrical or instrumentation products.

Skills:

Proven track record of working with EPCs, OEMs, and end-users in O&G, Petrochemical, or Power sectors. Strong knowledge of Ex-protected products, lighting design, 3D modeling techniques, and concept selling.

Exposure to cable tray design and project integration is a significant advantage.

Demonstrated understanding of industry best practices in product positioning, competitive benchmarking, and cost optimization.

Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills. "
