Cognizant Business Analyst – Operational Risk in CHENNAI, India
We are looking for an experienced Business Analyst to strengthen our Non‑Financial Risk (NFR) capabilities. The role focuses on Risk and Control Self‑Assessment (RCSA), control frameworks, and translating complex risk requirements into practical solutions.
What you’ll do:
Partner with risk, compliance, engineering, and business teams to embed effective controls.
Lead RCSA activities, identify gaps, and support remediation.
Document and translate business needs into clear functional requirements.
Leverage AI tools (e.g., Windsurf) to automate and optimize risk monitoring and reporting.
Act as a subject matter expert, providing guidance and training on operational risk.
What we’re looking for:
Strong background in NFR, RCSA, and control frameworks.
Proven BA experience bridging business and technical teams.
Exposure to AI/automation tools in risk management.
Excellent communication, documentation, and stakeholder management skills.
Experience in financial services, consulting, or technology risk is a plus.
