What Will You Do?
Responsible for handling inquiries from Indian & Export Market related to Centrifugal & Axial Fans, BlowersTechno commercial proposal covering all segments mainly Steel, Cement, Oil & Gas, Power ,GeneralIndustries..
Responsible for handling technical quires, selection and sizing of equipment, cost make up calculation for theproposal based on cost input from Howden Business units, negotiation with the client and internally hand overthe client agreed contract to contract execution ensuring that the cost, delivery, quality, and specifications aremeet.
Receive and handle enquiries from clients
Make, prepare, agree and monitor proposals based on inquiries received from the clients.
Make, prepare, agree, revise and monitor proposals cost make up sheet is reflected in theproposal on each revision.
Your Experience Should Be...
5 - 10 years - Experience of a proposals function in a highly technical sales environment (preferably fromrotating equipment divisions).
Educated to Degree level or equivalent in Mechanical engineering discipline.
Process knowledge on control philosophy and should be equipped with hands on awareness on P&ID andprocess instruments.
Basic design, application knowledge and experience gained on Rotating equipment (specifically onCentrifugal fans, Axial Fans, Blowers) with an Engineering Contracting Company in the field of Cement,Steel, Power and Petrochemicals, Refineries, Oil and Gas.
Knowledge on Cement, Steel, Power, PCOG industries & Applications, API Standards of Fans , Boughtout components – Forgings, Castings, Electrical and Instrumentation items.
Working knowledge of international standards such as ISO 5801, BS , AMCA and API or similar.
Basic design, application knowledge and experience gained on Rotating equipment (specifically onCentrifugal fans, Axial Fans, Blowers) with an Engineering Contracting Company in the field of Cement,Steel, Power and Petrochemicals, Refineries, Oil and Gas.
Knowledge on Cement, Steel, Power, PCOG industries & Applications, API Standards of Fans , Boughtout components – Forgings, Castings, Electrical and Instrumentation items.
Understanding of the requirements and key interfaces with other engineering disciplines and how these link tothe design and operation of Fan, control systems, safety, mechanical, electrical, commissioning, andoperations.
