Job Summary This position is responsible for the coiling of air and power coils according to work order instructions. The individual in this position will follow all operating and quality procedures per Coiling Specification Charts. The successful candidate must have good communication skills and be able to meet strict deadlines.
Responsibilities: Prepare equipment for daily use Set temperatures of ovens according to air coiling specification charts Perform quality checks Record scrap daily and weekly; maintain records; and report defects to supervisor Ensure efficiency targets are met to avoid shut down so that product moves to the next stage of the assembly process in a timely fashion Communicate status of work orders with supervisor and team members to ensure smooth transitions between shifts Follow all Federal, State, local, and company Safety Standards Keep work area clean and organized Other duties as assigned
Education & Experience: High school diploma or equivalent (preferred) Prior manufacturing and/or assembly line experience (preferred) Prior experience navigating a computer system and computer software (a plus)

Safety Requirements: Employee will be required to wear the provided PPE per the role requirements Follow site safety and any department specific protocols Report safety hazards or potential safety hazards to reporting Supervisor Attend company safety meetings
Physical Requirements: Must be able to occasionally lift up to 50 pounds Must have good eye, hand, and foot coordination Must be able work independently Ability to stand for long periods of time
