We are looking for a Housekeeping Supervisor to join our Team! The Fairfield Inn & Suites® by Marriott Buffalo Airport, is conveniently located across from Buffalo Airport with free airport shuttle service, you’ll also be 3 miles from Walden Galleria Mall and less than 10 miles from Downtown Buffalo. Our Fairfield has 140 beautifully appointed guest rooms, and we serve complimentary breakfast buffet to all our guests. The Fairfield by Marriott/Buffalo Airport is one of the 50 hotel properties owned and managed by the award-winning hotel management company, Buffalo Lodging Associates.

Fairfield by Marriott/Buffalo-Airport is seeking a Housekeeping Supervisor to join their housekeeping team!
A Housekeeping Supervisor, oversees and supervises cleaning personnel and inspects hotel guest rooms, bathrooms, corridors and lobbies by performing the following duties. Responsible assisting the Executive Housekeeper with the overall cleanliness of the hotel including rooms and public areas.
Maintains cleanliness standards for both guest rooms and public areas and inspects them to ensure that standards are met.
Records inspection results and notifies cleaning personnel of inadequacies.
Trains or re-trains staff on proper housekeeping procedures when needed.
In absence of Executive Housekeeper is responsible for the housekeeping department supervision.
Supervises employees in housekeeping department. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organizations’ policies and applicable laws.
Supervisory responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, training employees, appraising performance, rewarding and disciplining employees; planning, assigning, directing work, addressing complaints and resolving problems
Cleans rooms and public areas as assigned by Executive Housekeeper.
Working typical shifts that include weekends and holidays when required.
Pay range: $19.50-$20.50
What You Bring:
Previous experience in a hotel setting or open to training.
One year previous housekeeping experience is a plus.
Excellent customer service skills.
Able to work alone or as part of a team.
Ability to work on feet for extended periods.
Can navigate a cart weighing up to 100 lbs., and lift, carry up to 25 lbs.
And most importantly an engaging personality.
