Xylem Application Engineer - Intern in Cheektowaga, New York

Key Responsibilities
Assist application engineers with technical evaluations, product selection, and solution development
Support customer requests by helping prepare technical documentation, drawings, and application data
Perform basic testing, analysis, and validation of products in customer applications
Collaborate with engineering, sales, and manufacturing teams to support ongoing projects
Help troubleshoot technical issues and document findings
Maintain accurate records, reports, and application notes
Participate in meetings, trainings, and continuous improvement initiatives
Qualifications
Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, or related field)
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to understand technical concepts and communicate them clearly
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word); CAD experience is a plus
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to work independently and in a team environment
Preferred Skills (Optional)
Familiarity with engineering drawings and specifications
Experience with data analysis, testing, or lab environments
Interest in customer-facing technical roles
