Job Title: Electrical Engineer (C++)
Job Description
We are seeking a talented Electrical/Software Engineer to join our team. You will design and develop control software for PLC and embedded controllers, and create HMI/operator displays. Your work will involve translating product and customer needs into software requirements, and implementing and testing control algorithms for motors, valves, hydraulics, and sensors.
Responsibilities
Design and program control software for PLC and embedded controllers.
Develop HMI/operator displays.
Translate product and customer needs into software requirements.
Implement and test control algorithms for motors, valves, hydraulics, and sensors.
Perform unit and integration testing on machines.
Lead or participate in software and HMI design reviews.
Essential Skills
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field.
5+ years of experience developing industrial or mobile equipment control software.
Hands-on experience with PLC (Structured Text)
Must have C/C++
Experience with HMI development..
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Knowledge of CodeSys and/or Ladder Logic.
Familiarity with CAN bus, Ethernet, or industrial networking.
Understanding of hydraulic control systems.
Experience with 12V / 24V DC electrical systems.
Knowledge of telematics or machine connectivity is a PLUS
Work Environment

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Chattanooga, TN.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $55.28 - $62.50/hr.
