We are seeking aPurchasing & Procurement Analystto support sourcing strategies, supplier performance, cost optimization, and financial reporting across assigned categories. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with data, uncovering savings opportunities, and helping drive smarter business decisions through analytics and collaboration.
What You’ll Do
As aPurchasing & Procurement Analyst, you will play a key role in supporting purchasing strategy, supplier performance, and rebate management while partnering with Finance, Category Management, and other internal stakeholders to improve margins and drive operational excellence.
Responsibilities Include but Are Not Limited To:Procurement & Sourcing Support
Analyze category spend and purchasing trends to identify cost savings and optimization opportunities
Support strategic sourcing initiatives including supplier evaluation, bid analysis, and cost modeling
Assist in vendor negotiations and pricing strategy development
Partner with suppliers and internal teams to improve pricing, service levels, and contract compliance
Monitor supplier performance including fill rates, pricing accuracy, and rebate compliance
Track and report cost savings initiatives and margin impact
Analytics & Business Insights
Analyze sales, consumer, and purchasing data to identify trends, risks, and growth opportunities
Deliver actionable insights on pricing, product mix, and promotional performance
Conduct pricing and elasticity analysis to support pricing strategy decisions
Identify SKU rationalization, assortment optimization, and category growth opportunities
Analyze inventory movement, out-of-stocks, and demand trends to improve purchasing decisions
Design and deliver ad hoc and recurring reports for category managers, directors, and executive leadership
Partner with Business Intelligence teams to enhance reporting capabilities, data access, and data accuracy
Rebate Management & Financial Reporting
Calculate monthly rebates and accruals based on supplier purchases across all sources
Reconcile rebate accruals against supplier payments and resolve discrepancies
Consolidate and submit purchasing and accounts payable data for external reporting requirements
Communicate and resolve rebate discrepancies with suppliers, bottlers, and group purchasing organizations
Cross-Functional Collaboration & Projects
Provide data-driven recommendations that support key business decisions
Lead or support analytical projects including timelines, deliverables, and reporting needs
Conduct field and operational analysis to identify opportunities for improvement
Identify market gaps and assist in developing strategies to support growth
What We’re Looking For
Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy
Advanced Excel skills including pivot tables, Power Query, and financial modeling
Strong financial and cost analysis capabilities
Ability to translate data into actionable insights and business recommendations
Strong communication and presentation skills, including the ability to present to leadership
Naturally curious, self-motivated, and willing to challenge conventional thinking
Experience with data visualization tools such asPower BIorTableaupreferred
Experience working withERPor procurement systems preferred
Education & Experience
Bachelor’s degree inBusiness, Supply Chain, Finance, Accounting, Analytics, or a related field preferred
2+ yearsof experience in procurement, purchasing, supply chain analytics, or data analysis
Experience inconsumer products, food & beverage, or retail environmentspreferred
Experience supporting sourcing, vendor management, or procurement functions strongly preferred

Supervisory Responsibilities:None
Mathematical Skills:Intermediate or higher
Reasoning Ability:Strong synthesis, analytical, and deductive reasoning skills
Technical Skills:Advanced Excel required; knowledge of MS Access, PowerPoint, SharePoint, and Word is a plus
