Job Title: Laser Helper - Machine Operator
Shift: 4pm - 12 Midnight OR 4pm - 2am with overtime.
Pay: $19
Job Description
We are seeking a motivated Laser Helper Operator to join our team. In this role, you will assist in the operation and maintenance of CNC laser equipment, working closely with the machine operator to ensure the smooth loading and processing of materials.
Responsibilities
Assist the operator in loading materials onto the laser machine.
Perform preventative maintenance and troubleshooting on equipment as needed.
Utilize tools such as micrometers, calipers, and multimeters for machine setup and operation.
Assist in the operation of CNC Trumpf Laser and ensure smooth workflow.
Understand electrical and mechanical components related to laser operation.
Maintain a clean and organized work area.
Essential Skills
Experience with CNC machines and laser technology.
Basic understanding of electrical and mechanical systems.
Proficiency in using tools such as micrometers, calipers, and multimeters.
Ability to perform preventative maintenance and troubleshooting.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Training will be provided during the first 2-3 weeks.
Experience in sheet metal handling is a plus.

Work in an open-air machine shop equipped with fabrication, welding, and CNC machinery. The environment is maintained to be somewhat clean, and masks are not required. Enjoy a dynamic and collaborative workspace where your contributions are valued.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of CHATTANOOGA, TN.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $19.00/hr.
