How you’ll make an impact in this role
Deliver direct patient care in a clinic setting under the supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN) or physician, ensuring all care is within scope of licensure and aligned with established clinical protocols.
Support patient assessments by collecting vital signs, medical histories, and other relevant data for RN/physician evaluation and care planning.
Administer medications, perform routine lab tests, and provide basic therapeutic treatments while monitoring for and reporting any adverse reactions or changes in patient condition.
Educate patients and families on treatment plans, preventive care, and follow-up needs, while maintaining a safe clinical environment by identifying risks and responding appropriately to urgent situations.
What minimum requirements you’ll need
Licensure / Certification / Registration:
BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
Licensed Practical/Vocational Nurse obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
Education:
High School diploma equivalency OR 1 year of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
Note: Required professional licensure/certification can be used in lieu of education or experience, if applicable.
