Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Insurance Specialist to join a leading healthcare organization in Chattanooga, Tennessee. Responsibilities:
• Respond promptly to patient inquiries with professionalism and empathy.
• Schedule appointments and efficiently coordinate patient visits.
• Verify insurance eligibility, benefits, and coverage details for patients.
• Clearly communicate financial responsibilities and insurance information to patients.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless flow of accurate information.
• Maintain precise documentation and update patient records in a timely manner.
• Handle high volumes of calls while maintaining attention to detail.
• Assist with insurance authorizations and referrals as required.
• Provide support in resolving insurance-related issues to ensure patient satisfaction. Requirements • Minimum of 2 years of experience in healthcare administration, insurance verification, or medical office support.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to explain complex information clearly and compassionately.
• Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in handling patient data.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency in using computer systems and electronic medical records.
• Familiarity with medical insurance verification processes.
• Knowledge of insurance authorizations and referrals is preferred.
