Aerotek Forklift Operator - 1st Shift in Chattanooga, Tennessee
Job Title: Forklift and Kitter - 1st Shift - $20 per hour
Job Description
The primary responsibility of the Kitter is to remove products from the Laser machine and assemble them into kits for the end client. Forklift operation is considered an ideal skill set for this role.
Responsibilities
Remove products from Laser machine and assemble them into kits.
Operate forklift for efficient material handling.
Measure and handle materials with precision and care.
Interpret blueprint instructions for accurate assembly.
Conduct warehouse tasks, including placing kits in various locations.
Essential Skills
Experience in assembly and kit creation.
Proficiency in forklift operation.
Ability to interpret blueprints.
Strong mechanical aptitude.
Attention to detail in packaging and material handling.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience with warehouse packing and packaging.
Capability to use a tape measure effectively.
Mechanically inclined with a good understanding of fabrication processes.

Work Environment
The work environment is temperature controlled, ensuring comfort with minimal exposure to risk beyond typical manufacturing settings. The working hours are from 7:30 a.m. to 4 p.m., with a possibility of working up to 45-50 hours weekly, as overtime is arranged earlier in the day. Must be able to start at 6am if needed.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr.
