Executive Assistant (Contract-to-Hire)

We are seeking a highly organized, tech-savvy, service-oriented Executive Assistant to support senior leadership in a contract-to-hire capacity.
This is a high-visibility role supporting the CEO and Chief Innovation Officer within an organization built on professionalism, relationships, and service excellence.
About the Role:
This is not a “typical week” position — and that’s exactly what makes it exciting. You’ll serve as a strategic partner and trusted liaison in a three-pronged role that includes executive support, event coordination, and board relations.
The Chief Innovation Officer is a big-picture thinker who needs a detail-oriented partner to manage the many moving pieces behind the scenes. From educational conferences and compliance meetings to board events and executive communications, your precision and initiative will be critical to success.
Key Responsibilities
Executive Support:
Provide high-level administrative support to the CEO and Chief Innovation Officer
Manage select travel logistics (hotels, meeting accommodations)
Maintain confidentiality around board and executive-level communications
Serve as a professional liaison representing executive leadership
Board & Member Relations:
Coordinate logistics for board meetings and statewide events
Communicate with CEOs and board members of credit unions throughout TN and MS
Manage reservations, seating charts, event registrations, and expense tracking
Serve as a primary point of contact for board-related communications
Event & Project Coordination:
Support approximately 40 events per year across the state
Utilize Google Sheets to track budgets, projections, registrations, and reporting
Work within event registration platforms
Assist with advocacy, compliance, and educational meetings
May travel to major conventions and board meetings

Requirements
What We’re Looking For
Detail Orientation is Non-Negotiable
There are countless moving pieces — from seating charts to expense projections — and this role requires someone who naturally tracks and manages the details without constant oversight.
Technology Agility
Proficiency Google Workspace including Google Calendar, Google Sheets, & Google Docs.
Comfortable learning new software platforms quickly
Experience with Google Sheets strongly preferred
MAC environment (training available)
Confidence adapting to evolving technology systems
Service & Professionalism
Exceptional communication skills
Comfort interacting with C-level executives and board members
Strong hospitality mindset — polished, poised, and relationship-focused
Ability to represent the organization with professionalism and discretion
Personality & Work Style
Thrives in flexible, ever-changing environments
Self-directed and autonomous
Comfortable handling urgent, time-sensitive projects
Maintains composure under pressure
High level of integrity and confidentiality
Ideal Background
3+ years supporting senior-level or C-suite executives
Experience in nonprofit, financial services, association management, or professional services environments preferred
Event coordination experience strongly desired
