Adecco US, Inc. Controls & Automation Engineer in Chattanooga, Tennessee
Adecco Permanent Recruitment has partnered with a manufacturing client in the Chattanooga, TN area to find a full-time Controls & Automation Engineer to design, program, and support industrial automation and control systems.
Key Responsibilities
Design, program, and troubleshoot PLC, HMI, and SCADA systems
Support automation projects: design, installation, commissioning, startup
Develop electrical schematics, control logic, and documentation
Diagnose equipment issues; optimize system performance
Coordinate with vendors, integrators, and internal teams
Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and industry standards
Support continuous improvement and cost-reduction initiatives
Qualifications
BS in Electrical Engineering, Controls Engineering, or related field
Experience with PLC platforms (Allen-Bradley, Siemens, etc.)
HMI/SCADA programming experience
Industrial automation, manufacturing, or process control background
Strong troubleshooting and project coordination skills
Robotics, motion control, or vision system experience
AutoCAD Electrical or similar design tools
