Job Description Class A CDL Driver Job Summary: This position is for commercial drivers with a Class A license. Most driving will be delivering equipment to construction sites. Driver will be responsible for maintaining the vehicle and securing trailer and equipment. Attention to detail and the ability to work safely and efficiently is a priority. Job Duties and Responsibilities:

Operates a dump truck, flat bed, or other vehicles as assigned;

Maintains operator logs, forms, and records in accordance with company policy and Department of Transportation regulations;

Loads and unloads trucks and hauls and hosts materials;

Properly secures and binds equipment to trailers;

Operates small tools as directed by site supervisor;

Performs a variety of tasks involving manual labor in heavy construction projects;

Assists in maintaining a clean job site; picks up all tools and equipment and secures job site in order to eliminate potential hazards;

Conducts pre and post checks, daily maintenance, and keeps truck clean and ready for daily operation;

Completes written reports of problems or necessary repairs;

Detects and reports improper operations, faulty equipment, defective materials, and unusual conditions to proper supervision;

Wears required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) at all times;

Ensures that proper safety and incident reporting procedures are followed;

Brings customer issues and problems to the attention of the management; and

Performs other duties as required or assigned.
