We are currently seeking a Plant Production Supervisor for our Chateaugay, NY facility.
Schedule: Typical schedule is 8-hour shift, 7:00 a.m. 3:00 p.m., 3:00 p.m. 11:00 p.m., or 11:00 p.m. 7:00 a.m. Schedule may vary based on production needs.
Key Responsibilities
Ensure compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and SQF Food Safety and Quality programs. Lead production operations to include whey, cheese processing, warehouse, and milk receiving in order to meet quality, volume, cost, and customer standards. Provide strong leadership and foster a culture centered on ethics, integrity, safety, quality, efficiency, and continuous improvement. Train, coach, motivate, and develop production team members. Apply analytical and problem-solving skills to support operational excellence; proficiency with Microsoft Office required. Qualifications
3-5+ years of related experience and/or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Associate or bachelors degree in a business or technical discipline preferred. Experience in dairy manufacturing is strongly preferred. Compensation & Benefits
