Aerotek Production Supervisor in Chaska, Minnesota
Job Description
As a Production Supervisor, you will oversee the manufacturing assembly process for our Immunoassay diagnostic instruments, ensuring efficiency, quality, and compliance. You will play a critical leadership role, driving short-term and long-term business objectives while fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
Responsibilities
Manage direct reports, providing coaching, mentorship, and performance feedback.
Support career growth and professional development for team members.
Ensure proper training for new employees on equipment operations and work procedures.
Oversee assembly operations, ensuring adherence to FDA Quality System Regulations (QSR), Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), and the highest standards.
Use lean manufacturing principles, such as Kaizen, Gemba, and 5S, to drive improvements in safety, quality, delivery, and cost.
Identify and implement efficiency improvements in production methods, equipment performance, and workflow.
Work with cross-functional teams to tackle challenges and develop sustainable solutions.
Approve design changes and assess manufacturability for new processes.
Maintain accurate production records and report work status.
Set and deliver on challenging yet achievable goals within available resources.
Ensure alignment with business objectives and long-term growth targets.
Maintain organization and strategic training plans for the production area.
Essential Skills
Proven ability to lead production teams by defining measurable goals, implementing performance standards, and utilizing structured feedback systems.
Experience in applying lean manufacturing principles (e.g., Kaizen, 5S, Gemba).
Knowledge of FDA, QSR, or GMP compliance requirements.
Competence in data analysis for process improvement and KPI tracking.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- High school diploma with 8+ years’ experience, OR Bachelor’s degree with 5+ years’ experience, OR Master’s degree with 3+ years’ experience in a regulated manufacturing environment.

Work Environment
The role includes the ability to travel by air up to one week a month to the Miami, FL facility for ongoing training and support. Travel requirements and timelines may change based on business needs. You will work in an innovative environment dedicated to healthcare advancements.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $85000.00 - $100000.00/yr.
The annual salary range for this role is $85,000-$100,000 USD. This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. This range may be modified in the future.
This job is also eligible for bonus/incentive pay.
