Job Title: Lead Software Engineer Job Description: The Role: Entegris is seeking a motivatedLead SoftwareEngineer to join a dynamic team responsible for particle analyzers,concentration monitors, photochemical dispense pumps, sensors and controllersused in high purity liquid chemical processes for semiconductor manufacturing. This opportunity willbe locatedinBloomington, MNor Chaska, MNas part of theFluid Management Business Unitwithin Entegris' Advanced Purity Solutions Division. This segment develops technologies that supportdesignand development of the most advanced semiconductor applications in the world. TheLeadSoftware Engineerwillbe responsible forsustainingnew productdevelopment and technical advancement ofnew product designfrom concept through commercialization. TheLead SoftwareEngineer should be familiar with stage-gatedevelopmentand New Product Introductionat low and high volume. Expected to work withDomestic andInternational company resourcesand/orvendors to move new concepts from prototype to production. What You'll Do: Lead or co-lead projects related to software development and new product introduction, from concept through release.Responsibilities include design and concept reviews, prototyping, documentation creation, regulatorycertification, design verification test, productvalidationand qualification, tracking of resources,scopingestimated level of effort forsoftware requests, assessing risk and mitigating. Manageall aspects of thesoftware developmentlifecyclefromincoming requests to implementation to release. Create, strategize, andalign onsoftware roadmaps with businessunit. Perform root cause analysisofsoftware defectsexperienced in the field. Manage variousinternal software repositories,third-partydependenciesand outside technical resources. Automate software testingprocessesto perform unit, integration, and regression testing. Optimizesoftwaredevelopment and testing processes to allow for continuous improvement. Collaborate cross functionally to createinnovativesolutions that align with stakeholders, increase speed to market, and reduce overall complexity. Exhibit sounds judgement and decision making, driven with data, based on schedule and cost impact Mentor junior engineers, interns, and co-op roles. What We Seek: Leadership: Demonstrated track record and ability to comprehend product design/performance/application/use, improve released products (quality, cost, suppliers, lead-times), translate design intent into scalable and robust manufacturable solutions, manage product configurations, resolve issues quickly, define product specifications/requirements, release comprehensive engineering and process documentation, innovate and create solutions to technical problems Educational Background: Bachelor of Science inSoftwareEngineering,ComputerEngineering,Computer Scienceor equivalent, and 10+ years ofdirectly relatedexperience isrequired, advanced degree preferred, licensed as a professional engineer is a plus. Experience: Experience withgit,technical documentation (test plans, test reports, process instructions,softwarespecifications,softwarerequirements),andchange control. Experience with pumps,pressure/flow controls,optical systems, and embeddedlinuxis a plus. Technical Proficiency: Applied knowledge of industrystandards, languages,and tools such as:C/C++/C#,GitHub, SQLite, Python,WPF, MVVM,WinForms,WxWidgets. Problem-Solving: Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to design and troubleshoot complex systems Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey technical information clearly Team Player: Ability to work effectively in a team environment and collaborate with diverse stakeholders Accountability: Detail oriented and ability to prioritize workload and self-manage projects, handle multiple tasks and meet strict deadlines, self-motivated and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment Physical Requirements: This position is on site inBloomington, MNand/or Chaska, MN WHY WORK AT ENTEGRIS?
