Manufacturing Operator – Chaska, MN

1st shift: 6am-4pm, M-Thu

Pay Range: $21.00-$25.00 DOE

This is a contract role with a potential for perm conversion

Summary

As a Manufacturing Operator in the Valves and Manifolds department you will work in a cleanroom assembling a range of different valves and other components that are used by our customers to ensure they can precisely measure and dispense a variety of chemicals. In this role you will execute tasks such as setting up assembly workstations, assembling valve components and bodies, and conducting tests by following Standard Operating Procedures and high-quality standards.

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

  • Sets up workstations with components required for valve/fitting assembly by referencing part instructions.

  • Assembles different types of valves and fittings according to engineering drawings and assembly instructions.

  • Utilizes different hand tools, assembly fixtures, and other equipment for precise valve and fitting assembly and alignment of components.

  • Conducts various forms of manual and automatic testing procedures on assembled valves and other components by closely following supplied part instructions

  • Assesses test results and logs into Camline software for record-keeping and compliance.

  • Sets up and operates engraving laser on finished parts after the assembly process.

  • Packages finished products in adherence to established requirements.

  • Uses SAP and other electronic systems to find, record and generate documentation throughout the assembly or soldering process. Records all output and production data in ERP systems and maintains compliance with all online training and documentation requirements.

  • Verifies product visually and takes corrective action when necessary. Ensures product is consistent with established specifications. Escalates quality issues as appropriate. Ensures the highest possible product quality and adherence to the Entegris quality policy, ISO and/or other standards. Ensures all products are packaged per packaging specifications.

  • Finalizes all required paperwork thoroughly and timely (i.e. Production Reports, , Labels, Component Sheets, Rework Sheets, SAP Transactions etc.). Maintains accurate attribute/variable charts of rejected materials. Conducts variable charts on manufacturing processes and counts products as required.

  • Maintains a clean and safe work area. Communicates potential safety hazards immediately to supervisor. Performs duties in a safe manner and observes approved safety procedures.

  • Completes miscellaneous tasks as assigned in support of the larger organization and production goals.

WHAT WE SEEK:

• At least one (1) year of experience working in a manufacturing and/or clean room assembly setting is preferred

• Basic computer and data entry skills.

• Good attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high-quality standards.

• Excellent hand-eye coordination to perform assembly tasks precisely.

• Ability to use measuring devices (e. G. Caliper, measuring tape) and repetitively pinch and grasp hand/power tools.

• Ability to stand and walk for 75% of the shift duration.

• Ability to lift to 40 pounds.

• Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is required to be used at all times while on duty. This includes safety glasses, steel-toed shoes, and high-visibility vests.
