Description
We are proactively building a network of WordPress Software Developers for upcoming contract opportunities with our clients. These roles range from mid-level to senior developers who can design, build, and maintain high-quality WordPress applications and websites in fast-paced environments. If you enjoy working across development, customization, and performance optimization, we would love to connect with you.
This role is ideal for developers who are comfortable owning features end-to-end—from gathering requirements and designing solutions to implementing and maintaining scalable WordPress environments.
Key Responsibilities
Develop, customize, and maintain WordPress websites, themes, and plugins.
Build responsive, user-friendly front-end experiences and integrate them with backend systems.
Optimize website performance, security, and scalability.
Collaborate with designers, product teams, and stakeholders to deliver functional and visually engaging solutions.
Troubleshoot and resolve bugs, plugin conflicts, and performance issues.
Implement integrations with APIs, third-party platforms, and internal systems.
Requirements
Required Qualifications
Professional experience developing and maintaining WordPress websites.
Strong understanding of CMS architecture, theme development, and plugin customization.
Experience building and maintaining responsive web applications.
Ability to write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code.
Experience troubleshooting performance, security, and compatibility issues.
Familiarity with version control and modern development workflows.
Strong communication skills and ability to work independently in contract environments.
Preferred Experience
Experience building custom themes or plugins from scratch.
Experience integrating WordPress with external platforms or data sources.
Familiarity with performance optimization and SEO best practices.
Experience working in Agile or collaborative development teams.
