Description
We are looking for a skilled Sr. Payroll Analyst to join our team in Charlotte, North Carolina. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a collaborative, family-oriented environment and has a strong background in full-cycle payroll operations. Responsibilities:
• Process semi-monthly payroll for approximately 200 employees, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Manage payroll-related tasks such as garnishments, deductions, and benefit reconciliations.
• Utilize Viewpoint software to track and code employee time against various job costs.
• Handle onboarding, terminations, and salary changes with attention to detail.
• Compare insurance invoices against payroll deductions to ensure proper tracking.
• Maintain confidentiality in all payroll and employee-related matters.
• Collaborate with the accounting team to reconcile payroll data with the general ledger.
• Provide support for multi-state payroll operations, ensuring compliance with local regulations.
• Assist in auditing payroll procedures and resolving discrepancies effectively.
• Participate in company-wide events and contribute to maintaining a positive workplace culture.Analyst
Requirements • Proven experience in full-cycle payroll processing, preferably within a construction environment.
• Familiarity with job costing and payroll systems such as Viewpoint or ADP Workforce Now.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including formulas and VLOOKUP functions.
• Ability to maintain strict confidentiality regarding sensitive employee data.
• Experience managing payroll for 100-500 employees across multiple states.
• Knowledge of payroll regulations, including garnishments and deductions.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills to collaborate with internal teams effectively.
