Location: Charlotte, NC (On-site)
What's the Job?
Contribute to the technology planning, development, and delivery of third-party trade surveillance solutions across the US and EMEA regions.
Design, develop, and integrate enterprise-scale applications, ensuring compliance with international regulations such as MAD/MAR.
Collaborate with global teams, including vendor engineering and compliance stakeholders, to enhance surveillance systems and ensure seamless integration.
Modernize and rationalize existing surveillance technology estate, supporting strategic platform initiatives and tactical enhancements.
Ensure all development activities adhere to security, risk management, and company standards within an Agile delivery framework.
What's Needed?
10+ years of professional software engineering experience in complex financial systems.
Expertise in object-oriented and/or functional programming languages such as Java, Python, or Scala.
Experience designing and consuming APIs, system integrations, and working with third-party and cloud-hosted platforms.
Strong knowledge of capital markets, compliance, and trade lifecycle concepts, with familiarity with international regulations like MAD/MAR.
Proficiency in Agile/Scrum methodologies and secure SDLC practices, with experience working in controlled enterprise environments.
