Ink Production Technician

Pay: $19.00/hour

Schedule: Monday – Friday

Status: Temporary | Full-Time

Position Overview

Hitachi Industrial Equipment & Solutions America is seeking a detail-oriented Ink Production Technician to support its inkjet manufacturing operations.

In this role, you will be responsible for blending, filling, and packaging solvent-based inks used in Continuous Inkjet (CIJ) printers. This position requires strong attention to detail, basic math skills, and a commitment to safety and quality.

Key Responsibilities

  • Produce and package ink batches (25–120 gallons)

  • Perform repetitive blending operations for CIJ inks

  • Support lab scale-up and full-scale production

  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized workspace

  • Follow OSHA, HazMat, and SDS safety guidelines

  • Perform basic equipment maintenance

  • Organize warehouse, ink room, and supply areas

  • Follow detailed production procedures and documentation

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma OR 2+ years of manufacturing experience

  • Strong math and mechanical aptitude

  • Experience in manufacturing or lab environments preferred

  • Attention to detail and analytical thinking

  • Strong communication skills

  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs

  • Forklift experience is a plus (not required)

Work Environment

  • Industrial ink production facility

  • Exposure to solvents and chemicals (training provided)

  • PPE required at all times
