Our client, in the Financial Services realm is seeking a Lead Process Engineer to join their team. As a Lead Process Engineer, you will be part of the Commercial Banking Process Improvement and Intelligent Automaton team.
Job Description:
As a lead process engineer (or BEC), you will join the Commercial Banking Process Improvement and Intelligent Automaton team. Commercial Banking provides financial solutions to businesses with annual sales generally in excess of $25 million. Our business lines are Wells Fargo Capital Finance, Inventory Finance, Equipment Finance, Market Coverage and Specialized Industries. The Process Improvement and Intelligent Automaton team enables our business to adopt and execute a data- driven, continuous improvement approach to run and change our businesses, with measurable and sustained value to shareholders, customers, and employees.
In this role, you will:
Develop root cause research and create improvement recommendation to the business including proposed technology, staff, structure changes, and cost estimates
Lead process improvement initiatives that lead to measurable productivity or other tangible results.
Use Six Sigma, LEAN, Continuous Improvement process, tools, and techniques
Ensure effective relationships among the design teams and partners
Ensure development of metrics that provide data for future improvement opportunities
Make decisions and resolve issues to meet business objectives
Interpret policies, procedures, and compliance requirements
Collaborate and influence all levels of professionals including more experienced managers
Share lessons learned and best practices with others throughout the organization when appropriate
Provides coaching and mentoring to other process engineers on the team, project teams, and LOB management in Six Sigma, LEAN, Continuous Improvement process, tools, and techniques
Required Qualifications
7+ years of Process Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
Lean / Six Sigma Black Belt certification
Knowledge and understanding of Business Process Management Notation (BPMN) software such as iGrafx
Ability to write low to medium complexity AI prompts to solve efficiency opportunities
Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to manage complex projects in a large enterprise environment
Ability to work effectively in virtual environment where key team members and partners are in various time zones and locations
Ability to translate and summarize complex data into understandable, actionable information and recommendations
Desired Qualifications
Experience with large programs in a financial institution
Ability to configure low code configuration workflows (such as Alfresco, or PowerApps or Alteryx)
