Honeywell Principal IT Analyst - S4 HANA PMO Lead in Charlotte, North Carolina
As Principal IT Analyst, S4 HANA PMO Lead, you will be responsible for leading the Project Management Office of the S4 HANA Transformational program. Reporting to Director IT PMO and closely collaborating with Solution Delivery Team, you will focus on Delivery Methodology, Toolset for OCM and Delivery, and Project Management Office. You will be leading and matrix leading several IT Analysts – Honeywell employees as well as vendor provided to deliver on the responsibilities of this role.
The strategic objectives of this role are to support S4 HANA Solution Delivery through enabling and streamlining tools, methodology, and communication patterns as well as ensuring proper processes thru governance and coaching.
You will report directly to our Director, IT Project management and you’ll work out of our Charlotte, NC or Atlanta, GA location on a Hybrid work schedule.
Hybrid Work Schedule Note: For the first 90 days, New Hires must be prepared to work 100% onsite M-F
Key Responsibilities
Define and run the Program management operating system – Set up and own meetings cadence, meeting minutes, recordings, follow up actions.
Maintain appropriate KPIs & reporting, organize meeting and presentation preparations for leadership meetings.
Define, maintain, support and govern proper usage of PMO toolset – MS Teams, MS SharePoint, Jira, Power BI
Define, maintain, support and govern proper usage of Organizational Change management and Delivery Toolset – Signavio, Walk Me, Tosca, LeanIX, HCM Learning
Manage Licensing of tools by defining personas and track real usage against available licenses
Collaborate with Tools Service Owners on future roadmap of use cases and capabilities delivered by the Toolsets mentioned. Support tool usage by governance as well as training/coaching on right tools usage.
Define, own, and maintain S4 Build methodology utilizing SAFe. Utilize existing Honeywell Waterfall-Hybrid Rollout Methodology and adapt it for future S4 rollouts by incorporating lessons learned as well as latest AI practices for a modern, deliverable based, digital methodology. Ensure closed feedback loop for continuous improvement. Ensure governance and proper usage of methodologies.
Collaborate with other Honeywell functions as well as External System Integrators in owned areas
Maintain governance documentation in line with progress & status
Drive continuous improvements in toolsets, PMO standards, and methodology
Manage IT and business stakeholder's expectations from the PMO office
Develop and maintain a productive working relationship with program stakeholders, project managers, Service Owners, and other defined team members
YOU MUST HAVE
7+ years of experience in Program Management Office, focused on SAP / ERP
Working knowledge of various ERP components and processes
Tool oriented mindset, and working experience or awareness of various delivery tools such as Walk Me, Signavio, Jira, TOSCA,
Excellent Program Management skills and ability to orchestrate large cross functional teams
Exceptional leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills across global, matrixed organizations
Ability to mentor peers on PMO standards
Deep understanding of key program management practices with strong business acumen and customer focus
Ability to Quickly identify interrelationships and patterns among a variety of problems and issues
Excellent written and oral communication skills across a diverse range of cultures
WE VALUE
Bachelor's degree in a computer-related, information technology, engineering, or operations discipline
Strong knowledge of Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe), Agile, Scrum, and Kanban
