This job is responsible for providing analytical support in a Global Markets Operations function for one or more operations product areas. Key responsibilities include analyzing and resolving highly complex operations problems and initiatives requiring exceptional handling and coordination of multiple operational and/or product specialists to resolve. Job expectations include managing projects and the introduction of new initiatives, systems, products, services, and processes and coordinating necessary expertise across multiple operations functions and products.

Global Markets Shared Operations and Corporate Treasury Operations is seeking an AI‑ and data‑driven Associate to help shape the future of our organization. This role partners closely with the business to drive continuous improvement through advanced data analytics, strategic insights, and the thoughtful adoption of AI tools and automation. The ideal candidate is curious, innovative, and motivated to modernize how work gets done at scale.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain automated, scalable ETL pipelines across diverse data platforms, leveraging automation frameworks, low code solutions, and AI assisted data preparation tools to deliver reliable, “fit for use” relational datasets.

  • Analyze and synthesize complex data sources including relational databases, dimensional models, and cubes, applying GenAI tools and copilots to accelerate exploration, pattern detection, and root cause analysis.

  • Design and optimize relational and analytical data models that power actionable insights, enabling downstream reporting, advanced analytics, and AI driven use cases.

  • Partner closely with business stakeholders to translate business questions into technical and analytical solutions, using GenAI copilots to accelerate requirements gathering, prototyping, and solution design.

  • Create and maintain high quality technical and business documentation, including metadata, data lineage, workflows, and desktop procedures, enhanced through AI assisted documentation and knowledge management tools.

  • Drive continuous improvement and innovation by identifying opportunities to apply GenAI, automation, and low code tools to streamline processes, reduce manual effort, and improve data quality and speed to insight.

  • Collaborate within a cross functional, agile team environment, actively sharing learnings, experimenting with emerging AI capabilities, and providing clear, regular updates on project progress and outcomes.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelors Degree or 5+ years of experience in systems functional analysis and technology business analysis, with the ability to assess and modernize data and reporting workflows using automation, GenAI copilots, and AI assisted analysis tools.

  • Advanced proficiency in SQL, including the ability to leverage AI assisted query generation, optimization, and data exploration to accelerate insights across large and complex datasets.

  • Intermediate proficiency in Autosys, Shell scripting, or Python, with experience applying automation frameworks, low code solutions, or AI enabled scripting tools to streamline data pipelines and operational processes.

  • Strong understanding of enterprise data platforms and architectures, including The W, MS SQL Server, Oracle, Hadoop, Teradata, and the Strategic Data Platform (SDP), with the ability to support AI ready, analytics friendly data designs.

  • Working knowledge of software version control systems (e.g., Bitbucket / Git), including collaboration with teams developing automated, analytics, and AI enabled solutions.

  • Proven ability to translate high level business needs into technical and data requirements, leveraging GenAI tools to accelerate requirements gathering, prototyping, and solution design.

  • Strong communication skills (verbal, written, and presentation), with the ability to clearly explain data insights, AI driven outcomes, and automation impacts to both technical and non technical stakeholders.

  • Exceptional attention to detail and due diligence, particularly when working with automated, AI assisted, or analytics driven outputs in a controlled enterprise environment.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Proficiency in Tableau, including experience with automated dashboards, embedded analytics, and AI augmented visual insights.

  • Proficiency in Alteryx, with exposure to low code / no code automation, data preparation, and AI assisted analytics workflows.

  • Demonstrated curiosity and aptitude for self directed learning, especially in experimenting with GenAI tools, copilots, and emerging analytics technologies.

  • Data mining and advanced analytical experience using SQL and/or SAS, enhanced through AI assisted pattern recognition and exploratory analysis.

  • Understanding of reporting data governance, including considerations for AI driven analytics, automation controls, data lineage, and model transparency.

  • Process design or process improvement experience, with a focus on applying automation, low code tools, and AI capabilities to improve efficiency, scalability, and accuracy.

  • Strives to bring new thoughts and ideas to teams in order to drive innovation and unique solutions

  • Excels in working among diverse viewpoints to determine the best path forward

  • Experience in connecting with a diverse set of clients to understand future business needs - is a continuous learner
