Lead Software Development Manager (Remote)
As a Lead Software Development Manager, you will make an impact by developing, implementing and maintain high-quality software solutions . You will be a valued member of the team and work collaboratively with stakeholders and teams.

In this role, you will:
Manage the platform delivery roadmap and plan to reflect technology and business priorities, integration needs, and technology advancements
Work with stakeholders and customers across the enterprise to ensure work is properly prioritized. Negotiate conflicts and resolve prioritization collisions.
Routinely operate across the matrix of functions across the enterprise landscape
Provide strategic and operational guidance to product teams, development teams, and clients
Provide architectural guidance and challenge assumptions on design and builds
Drive continuous improvement within the team to meet the organization OKRs
Collaborate with cross-functional teams for seamless delivery and operation of software services
Oversee key projects, processes, performance reports, data, and analysis

What you need to have to be considered:
15+ years of relevant technical or industry experience with at least 8+ years in a Technical Product or Delivery Management leadership role
Experience building platforms that serve a portfolio of applications, understanding the nuances of supporting multiple stakeholders who rely on enterprise platforms
Financial Service background is a must, preferably with knowledge of Digital Banking, Core Banking and Banking Platforms
Knowledge of FIS products and services is a plus
Ability to lead a team effectively under pressure
Strong leadership and project management skills

Salary and Other Compensation:
Applications will be accepted until 3/15/2026.
The annual salary for this position is between $102K – $190K depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate .
This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
