Are you a Registered Nurse with a passion for helping children and adolescents navigate mental health and substance use challenges? AtMonarch NC, we provide trauma-informed, person-centered care to individuals of all ages and were looking for a dedicated RN to join our ChildCrisis Teamin Charlotte.
Work Schedule:
- Saturday and Sunday (3:00pm - 11:00pm) Every Other Weekend
What You'll Do
As a Child Behavioral Health RN, you will:
- Provide direct nursing care to children and adolescents in crisis
- Administer psychiatric medications and monitor responses
- Conduct nursing assessments and support treatment planning
- Respond to psychiatric and medical emergencies with calm, compassionate expertise
- Coordinate care and referrals for emergency medical treatment when needed
- Follow detoxification protocols and assist with crisis and aftercare planning
What You Bring
- Associate's Degree in Nursing (minimum requirement)
- Active RN licensein North Carolina
- 1+ year of experiencein a crisis management setting
- 1+ year of experienceworking with children, youth, or adolescents in a behavioral health crisis setting
- Working knowledge ofpsychiatric medicationsand trauma-informed care
